I found out some of my colleagues are very nice people… :-D
Time will prove it. People I don't like, I don't give a damn.
Ah -- I went to a couple of good restaurants for lunch this week.
Mon: Café Siam
Thai food. I talked about that on my diary on Monday (20mar06)
Tue: Habibi Café
They have habibi Café and Habibi ( restaurant) , I went to the Habibi before for dinner and it was great) – Egyptian Cuisine
Wed : Dozo
Japanese food – went there with Paul's gf, Mina. She will stay in hk for a bit than travel with Paul etc …We both like Japanese food .. nice ;-)
Thu : Ivan the Kozak
Eastern European Cuisine - Wow! First time been there. GREAT restaurant I would say. I never really FEEL the Russian/Eastern European food in HK sounds any different to 'normal' western dishes to me, I only enjoy the vodka fridge things in those places … but this restaurant, even I never been to Eastern Europe (yet), I would say this IS the real one!
-Café Siam
read the diary on Monday (20mar06)
-Habibi
Was great as usual, the food is just what I like. I went there with my colleagues, they all love the food too. Then I rush back to office for a meeting with a client with bosses, but the client delayed at the end … :-S
- Dozo
Went there with Paul once, then the 2 nd time go there yeterday was with his Gf, Mina. Haha.. thanks girl I enjoyed the lunch so much … esp when we saw that “special” sushi wahahahah ;-)

I really need to talk about this restaurant.
I saw the door sign for thousand time when I hang out with my buddies in LKF, was thinking its interesting but never go there. Its write in English and Chinese on the sign something like “real Eastern European cuisine” .. usually foreign restaurant with Chinese writing ( means the boss may be Chinese) the food were “Chineseized” but its said “real Eastern European” .. I think they may hire foreign chef as most other restaurants do. But today when I just get in the restaurant with my colleagues – WOW!!!! I was shocked for only the environment---I have never go to a restaurant have so eastern European home style feeling like what I seen in the book or friend's photo album. I really feel like I was in Russia. I just don't feel like im In HK anymore! The food, not ONLY good, but very special and sounds like “real eastern European food” to me – but the menu etc has both English and Chinese on it, and the manager is a Chinese guy, Ivan ( I thought he is Russian or Mongolian, he looked like one) – finally I read some info of the restaurant found out that the Chinese bosses's wife is an Ukrainian lady. At 1990s he went to the north-west of China for business, and he met this future wife, Miss Olena there-they got married, because the business wasn't so good so he bring his wife to HK to keep doing his jewelry business. His wife was working in a Russian restaurant in HK- then they think of the idea to open this restaurant. The whole restaurant really look like the village houses in east Europe I read on the books, and even the spoon etc are So lovely … the happiest thing for me is they play Russian radio but not Cantonese pop music in the restaurant! LOL
Well … after a whole week of great food ( spoil myself for bday) … next week I will have $14 HKD noodles on the street everyday
hahaha ( lets see )
