12Jan 07|Oysters bar & Restaurant

A simple night out.

First meet up Liz in Hong Kong Brew House for snack and a beer (duh :-P), then Michelle join us and we went to cavern, drop by bulldog for a bit, Tabo and her girl friend came join us, Bulldog was too quiet so we head to insomnia (and Liz have to go) and Tracey come over, after a drink and dance Me and Tracey go somewhere which less noisy music so we can talk, and that place we picked was Oysters - here is the info:

Oysters bar & restaurant
9 Wo On Lane, Lan Kwai Fong, Central, Hong Kong
Tel : 2877 9773
Drinks around 60 HKD each

The boss said it serves Mediterranean food (may be next time will go for dinner there) – very comfy place, sometime I really prefer nice seat and a chat rather than people who got mad jumping around in the dance floor and music blow my ears away (no, I'm only in my mid 20s)

Nice drinks (but real strong though lol) and very friendly staffs.

After 1-Jan-2007, it said in Hong Kong all bar and restaurants are not allowed to smoke but still, as we can see many bars still allowed to smoke ( Liz said some can apply for a ‘smoking license” lol) and obviously the smoking-free bar have less customers.

It's really doesn't matter to me since I'm not a smoker. I agreed that RESTAURANTS should be non-smoking but BARS … like when you hang out with your group of friends there's surely some of them are smokers, so … well I don't really know what's the point of the government doing that (and this time I'm not only talking about local government, but the government worldwide!)

Have a good weekend people.
