The Question of Vegetarian
The question: Vegetarian, to be or not to be?
The answer to that is really quite complex. There are spiritualconsiderations as well as health considerations pro and con. In my ownpersonal philosophy i promote vegetarianism, Actually naturalism (Whichis another yet complex philosophy yet to be explored) maybe i will postthis one in the near future. But there are exceptions.
Protein
Many Western countries and their medical establishments are highprotein Dependant. We have been taught to believe that protein is moreimportant than it is, (because even that natural essence in the food isno more, maybe fish from unpolluted water is the only thing that ishealthy, most of the food we consume these days has genetically beenaltered and therefore that originality is lost). and that you must eatmeat to get the protein. Most people can get the protein they need froma proper vegetarian diet, although some cannot. How much protein andwhat kind of protein (animal, vegetable, dairy, etc.) does a personneed? It varies greatly depending on the individual. Genetics plays abig role in this. Remember, the following are generalizations and thereare exceptions. But as you will see later it all comes down to whatkind of energy you are taking in.
If your ancestors were mainly meat eaters, you will have apredisposition to meat, and probably need more protein. If yourancestors didn’t eat dairy, you are likely to have a low tolerance fordairy, and it will tend to clog you up with mucous and make you proneto colds and flu. If they ate a lot of dairy, such as in someScandinavian countries, you will be more inclined to digest, and ingestthe nutrition from dairy products. i recommend this book for veggiediet ==>HERE
Then there is the food supply issue. Animals raised for food eat farmore food than they become. It is simply bad logistics for the worldfood supply. On the other side of the issue, some people don’t do wellwith strict vegetarian diets. Their body just can’t adapt. Their bodiesdon’t absorb the nutrition (including vitamins) from vegetables andfruits as well as they do from meat. But if that person will be asstrict a vegetarian as they can healthfully be, then their children andgrandchildren will be able to be more strict, or full vegetarians. TheChildren teach people to be as much of a vegetarian as you can bewithout causing health problems that will interfere with being avehicle for the will of the Universal Spirit. Almost everyone can atleast cut out red meat, although some people need to supplement theirdiet with yeast or some other form of protein powder (the only otherdietary source being red meat).
Vegetarianism, Consciousness, and Spirituality
(素食主義,增強意識和靈性)
Some people are vegetarians because of their religion. They justbelieve it is more spiritual, or gives you a higher consciousness, evenwithout really knowing the reason why. They just take it on faith. Doesdiet affect your consciousness?
(有些人因為宗教而成為素食者。他們相信這樣會更崇高純潔,或是幫助提升意識,即使他們根本不能道出原因。他們素食也只因為信條。飲食方式會影響你們的意識嗎?)
Certain foods do. But it is not a necessary prerequisite toenlightenment, nor a way of attaining enlightenment or higherconsciousness. It’s actually the other way around. A person usuallyimproves their diet as a result of a raise in consciousness.
But I have seen many vegetarians that were just as selfish and harmfulas any meat eater, or worse. And I have seen meat eaters that arehigher in consciousness than vegetarians. I know some enlightenedpeople who consume alcohol, although they don’t consume it for purposesof a selfish “get off” as most people do. Would Jesus eat a hamburger?Probably not. But if he did, would his consciousness be one iota higheror lower because of it? Absolutely not. Did not eating hamburger makeJesus or Buddha what they were? No. So it’s best not to get fooled by“trappings” of spirituality, but rather stick to the tangible issueslike kindness, harmlessness, and giving. With that in mind, Alcohol, tobacco, and sugar in that order (alcohol being the strongest) allinhibit the spiritual functioning of the chakras, including inhibitingyour Inner Voice and intuition, and red meat can inhibit upper chakrafunctions, However there are other types of herbs and food thatstimulates chakra functions. Alcohol on the other hand, has severeeffects, radically suppressing the spiritual nature, and letting thedark side, the selfish side, blossom thus it should never be consumedby anyone who is not enlightened.
Compassion For Animals

Obviously, compassion for animals is a reason to avoid meat. What kindof conscious being doesn't care about killing and harming animals?,Weusually go into the grocery store and get a package of meat and notreally think on how that meat got in there, Obviously someone did killthat animal for us. But how would you feel about personally killing ananimal for yourself? If you have a pet, how would you feel aboutkilling and eating it? What makes your pet so different from the otheranimals? Maybe just that you’re familiar with it? Or does it mean it'sright to kill things you don’t know ?, One lady grew up on a farm andhad a pet cow. She said the cow was very aware and interacted with hervery much like any other pet would. Then her family slaughtered it andit broke her heart.
Does your Pet Differ from other Animals?

There are different levels of consciousness in an animals, just do aresearch when you look an animal in the eyes, try to observe, A Cat,Dog, Cow, fish, Chicken and tell the difference on how they interactand respond back to you, it is worse to eat a more aware animal than aless aware animal.
The rule of thumb generalization for what to eat, “If it can run fromyou, don’t eat it.” But that rule can still be overridden depending onyour body’s needs, Many of us are genetically oriented to animalproteins unfortunately. But even vegetables are alive, and haveconsciousness. Scientific tests have proven this. Plants are even quitepsychic. One experiment indicated that a house plant experienced somekind of arousal when animals or other plants were killed in anotherroom, or when its “owner” was in distress many miles away. And avegetarian kills plants. So what are we to do?
Ideally, in a more pure human physical state, the ultimate diet wouldbe fruitarian.( Apparently there are people who believe they can gettheir energy through breathing, "breatharians"). You don’t kill fruit -it is being produced by the plant as a sacrificial offering in order tofurther it’s reproduction (it’s a tasty treat that a bird or some otheranimal eats, who then passes the seeds through their digestive system -thus “planting” the seeds with “fertilizer”. some people tried to befruitarians, but their bodies were not genetically adapted to it, andevery one of them got sick and had to quit the diet. There may be somepeople out there who can do it though.
The Essense of being Vegetarian
Basically eating is an issue of survival, and health. Most people mustkill something on this Earth, in order to stay living on the Earththemselves. That’s disgusting, but true and inescapable for most. Canyou justify that? Most people obviously do. But most people have nomore of a good reason to live than the things they
are killing, yet they do it anyway, and justify it. It all comes downto why you are here. We don’t really belong here. We are not supposedto be bound to this physical plane. And there are only two reasons thatjustify being here:
1) Working on yourself so you can get free from it and/or help others; and
2) Being here to help free others (after achieving#1).
If you are doing one of these two things, then eat what you will tofurther your consciousness, stay alive, and strong. And if you mustkill an animal or a plant because your body needs it (not because yourself desires the food), thank them from your Inner Being when you killthem and eat them - thank them and honor
them for sacrificing themselves to help you help the Universal Spiritto do Its Will (meaning Cultivate that energy for the Greater good andnot just your own selfish-ambition) through your vehicle, and eat withno guilt.
As for everything you take and give is composed of energy, Maybe someof the Religious practices like Muslim, Jews or Hindu etc don't eatcertain animals because of their nature and the kind of energy thatcomes with that animal make good use of it instead of abusing it, thenall that life you have taken from others will not perish in vain. Forbeginner who wants to know how to make a healthy vegetarian diet irecommend this cook book, ==>HERE!
