A whole day spend around this Madrid city, Went to the Palace and small museum, tourist places, church in there, walk around ... trying to relax but also trying to see as much as I could around.

Morning before I leave the hostel ... actually the place I stay is quite nice. on my way walk toward west on the metro!

Get out from the Metro from Anton Martin (where I stayed) to Sol, the centre ... going to Plaza mayor on the way to the Palacio Real.

In Plaza Mayor - still early. nice square though.

Leavning that place and keep walking

Pl. de la Villa or Ayuntamiento thing around ... very few people. because it was a sunday? everyone in the church?

I doubt it. they probably go drinking some where.

In front of the Palacio Real, queue up a little before get in ... it was 8 Euro for enter.

2 Japanese girl queue in front of me ask me in Japanese "are you Japanese?" (complicated isn't it )

Then I answered in Japanese "no, I'm from Hong Kong" ... they was like "oh ok ... wait!" lol

They ask if I speak Japanese I said "no but little" ... then we smilies. and our conversation is over! (not funny? I think it was) I can't speak Japanese, but I understand some and able to speak a little ... all because of I'm too addicted of coimc and animation!

The building is as beautiful as it should be (Palace!) and the shape is amazing. but then well if you been to Europe a few time you would just think they are all the same.

It is not allowed to take photos in many places in the palace, When i went inside I was really impressed ... can't believe how rich they were?! the decloaration and everything was just amazing.

There's room for read, for tea time, for just put some of the royal collection or some big room you don't understand what are they for. beaufitul funitures and wall paper etc ...

One room that I really love it was the one for religious like a small church (Catholic). The paintings there were awesome and the room played some church music .. like people singing but you have no idea what they sing ( Psalm ) ... I stayed in that room longest.

Then there's a room to show all those armor (for both men and women, house...) that was a very scary place for me. The whole collection of the armors from ancient time to mid ceuntry, look all big, cold, cruel, no emotion, dark , iron ... I almost smell blood!

A peacock in the palace! lol hard to take it photo, I keep zoom it in. Took a video, click below to go

Just in front of the Palace, there's a Church "Muralla Árabe" ... So I went in. Between Mess so there's a lot of people ... I took a few photos and thinking a lot of thing about our world when I stood in front of the scultpure ...

Wow I was lucky to go at the morning rather then Lunch time ... see the queue getting much longer.

Enjoying the 'noise' of speakers on the street scream out and playing some Psalm

Right - lunch time! go get my Paella

On the street, as usual some people sing and dance for money

Here is ... Plaza de Espana. What about it?

"Plaza de España (or "Spain Square" in English) is a large square, and popular tourist destination, located in central Madrid at the western end of the Gran Vía. It features a monument to Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra and is bordered by two of Madrid's most prominent skyscrapers; also the Palacio Real (Royal Palace) is a short walk south from the plaza." - Wikipedia

Saw the Stone sculpture of Miguel de Cervantes, Bronze sculptures of Don Quixote and Sancho Panza etc

Very peaceful afternoon with sun (very strong sun, but tempture is not warm ... werid)

Just having a little break.

More me .......... *boooo*

Just walk around the street. I saw lots of people drinking in local snack bar .... (old people are in the church though)

Walk around again, after more than 7 hours walk need to have a little break... Don't even know what park is this. Just saw a lot of people bring their kids, teenager chatting in there.

It was the funniest thing in this Madrid trip to me. I was sitting in the park doing nothing but thinking, suddenly the little Spainish boy (like 3 years old) come to me and give me flower that he pick in the garden. So funny that many people in the park and he come to me (because I'm an alien? because my birthday is 2 days after?) ... I was surprised and say thank you to him, he then keep looking at the flowers he gave me and speak in Spanish *so cute*

Then he come to me 2nd time, I took him a photo (scroll down a little) ... he look really cute and really small but in the photo is different.

When I get up and leave, he was going back to the seat to look for me. I turn back and he saw me, so funny, he ran towards me and gave me flower again. AYyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy KIDS are so lovely

Keep walking around 3 more hours ... 8pm the sky still not yet very dark.

After that I'm tired like hell ... don't force myself, go back to sleep
