Another whole day in the city, last day I'm in Madrid as well. Visited a few more thing- The Ventas and the Retiro(the huge park with lake and museum, palacio de Cristal etc in the city).

Get out from this station Plaza España, was just because I want to check if the museum was opened. No its not .... so I walk around a little and take the metro to go to the other side of the city. Visited the Ventas.

The Ventas is ... nice, but it is not a bull fighting season (in Spain was April to October, when the weather is 'cold' the bull fighter will go to South America) but very fine to me, I'm not sure if I really want to watch the bull fighting ...

You know when you are travelling alone you need to ask people to help you to take a photo .. but the tourist (I think they are also Spainish but from other cities) always take more than one for you. Just too friendly!

The whole thing wasn't like huge, but I think there's a reason - it seems no matter where you seat you will still see the centre very well.

The guide explained there's royal families seat at the top but not the bottom of the Ventas - because the bull cold get crazy sometime and jump over people. (wow that can kill a lot of people) and the more lower you sit is acutally cheaper and more danguous. she said the ticket are from 5 Euro to 100 Euro (what a huge different) and you will see why...

Our tour guide, a pretty Spanish lady, SPEAK REALLY FAST, either in English or Spanish.

Ok when I get out of Retiro station to go to the huge park "Retiro" was already afternoon. FOOD

Its is like one of the most beautiul place in Madrid I reckon.

Finally saw that 'Palacio de Cristal" (crystal palace)

Then I took the metro to some station around (I bought one day ticket so same price ..)

Photos are mostly building and view so I take some of myself *Puke if you want I don't care*

There's some shopping place in the mall (not in the city, those shop selling stuff which I think 'too tourist' or I feel that they are made in China < if so, why don't buy them in HK) ... but the shopping mall in there also disappointing. Even the mall is huge.

Walk until evening, time to prepare for my trip to Portugal for tomorrow, which I looking forward to go for ages - that "Fatima" city there.

In fact I came to Madrid just because of the flight arrangment and have a look of the city since I came to Spain but never the captial, but Portugal is more of what I want to check out.

So ... On the flight tomorrow for my birthday.
